Onboarding GrabFood drivers

Drivers were not accepting GrabFood jobs due to the perception that those jobs don’t pay as much. We added a couple of incentives and compensations to motivate them, but that meant adding complexity to tracking payments and earnings. Through design, we simplified the process for them. My job was to communicate the changes in the onboarding flow without overwhelming them with details.

To gain their trust, I talked about how we were bringing more transparency to the money they could make.
Simplify information
After much debate over how we should communicate the different payment options that worked with different ordering models, I decided all they needed to know here was the cleaner look of the payment screen.
Earnings vs. history
Besides introducing the new Earnings Summary, I made sure to set it apart from the existing Job History screen.
